Hi, I’m Erin, A Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist who is passionate about inspiring people to dive into their inner body’s wisdom. I aim to connect with you to explore ways to reach your highest potential. I have dedicated the past 13 years to studying human behavior with a deep exploration on the roles of movement, mindfulness, and person-centered psychotherapy.
I like to challenge my clients with embodiment of emotions during sessions to explore how they are affecting the mind, body, and spirit of the individual. My services are ‘challenging by choice’ meaning I want you to make the choice to do things that are challenging to yourself while continuing to take care of your mind and body -- move at your own pace.
Growth and change cannot happen in comfortable spaces, I encourage you to always
BE GENTLE WITH YOURSELF through every stage of the healing process.
I am passionate about providing a non-judgmental space and inspiring my clients to challenge themselves to become the best version of them self! I believe the tools for healing already reside within each one of us. It is my mission to provide the space in which your true self can rise. I currently hold a master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and Professional Counseling from Columbia College Chicago. I have clinical experience working with patients in a hospitalized setting focusing on anxiety, depression, PTSD, bi-polar, manic episodes, substance use, addiction, schizophrenia, and more. I’ve worked with intellectually / developmentally disabled adults, adolescents, and military personnel. Dance/Movement Therapy is a tremendous treatment for those wanting to uncover unconscious associated with severe trauma. My work has provided relief from intense emotions related to extreme loss and abrupt trauma. I value creating a safe environment for individuals to cultivate internal peace and self-awareness.
